Basic Blitz Football is Real Football Against the Clock between two teams of N* and M* players who take turns attacking each other’s goal and defending their own goal with a goalkeeper, or with a goalkeeper and defenders, or playing without a goalkeeper. (*) N, M = 1..5, N×M>1.
Team objective: within the assigned Attack Time Reserve (ATR), score more goals than the opponent scores within its ATR; if goals are equal, spend less time on scoring attacks than the opponent.
Playfield. The game is played on an area with a goal, boundaries, and marked Start and Penalty Mark points. The attacking team begins the attack from the Start point. In a game without defenders, its players may not approach the goal closer than the Penalty Mark.
Before the game, each team is assigned ATR and AMT — Attack Minimum Time required for one attack.
NOTE: teams of different levels may be given different numbers of players N and M, and different Start and Penalty Mark points.
An attack begins from the Start point on the START whistle. Attack Time is measured until the STOP whistle and is deducted from the attacking team’s ATR.
The attack ends when: — a goal is scored (attack-end reason — Goal) — the goalkeeper saves or catches the ball (Save) — the ball crosses the playfield boundary or a forward raises a hand (Out) — the ball hits the post and does not cross the goal line (Post) — the attacking team’s ATR reaches zero (Time off) — the attacking team: – lets the ball stop for more than 1 sec (Ball Stop) – in an attack without defenders, approaches the goal closer than the Penalty Mark (P-Mark) – violates football rules (Handball, Offside, Foul) — a defender violates football rules (Defender) and receives a penalty — minus the attack time from the defender’s team ATR — a goalkeeper violates football rules (Goalkeeper) and receives a penalty — minus the attack time from the goalkeeper’s team ATR.
End of game. A team loses the right to attack if, after an attack, its ATR is less than AMT. The game ends when both teams have lost the right to attack.
The team that scores more goals wins; if goals are equal, the team with the shorter scoring attack time wins.
PLAYER-ELIMINATION GAME A game with elimination of the forward who ended the attack is provided. When a team has no forwards left, the game or game round ends; during the game, each team player has performed the ball action that ended an attack.
